More about Elissa
I work with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, workplace stress, and relationship challenges. In our sessions, my role is to provide a supportive, non-judgemental space where we can work together to safely unpack your concerns, and begin to make sense of your thoughts, emotions and experiences at your own pace.
My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and inclusive. At its core, it is based on the belief that you are the expert in your own life. I integrate various therapeutic methods, including Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. These methods can help you explore how your past experiences shape your current patterns, re-author your story, and develop strategies for meaningful change. This process can sometimes involve reflection; at other times, it may include learning new tools or simply taking time to pause, breathe, and feel heard. Together, we will co-create a space and a plan that feels supportive for you, wherever you are in your journey.
