You care for everyone. Who cares for you?
Therapy for caregivers of all kinds: healthcare workers, parents, and those caring for aging or disabled family members. A space to set down what you carry and focus on yourself for once. Virtual across Canada or in-person in Petawawa, ON.
What is psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a professional, evidence-based form of talk therapy. As a caregiver, whether you're a nurse, a parent, a PSW, or someone holding a family together while caring for someone with complex needs, you likely spend most of your time focused on everyone else. Working with a Registered Psychotherapist gives you a dedicated space that is entirely yours, to process what you're carrying and rebuild the capacity to keep going.
"Caregivers are often the last people to ask for help. Therapy is where you finally get to be the one who's cared for."
Unlike leaning on a colleague, a partner, or pushing through on your own, psychotherapy is structured, goal-oriented, and grounded in clinical training. Your therapist brings both professional expertise and genuine care to every session, without judgment, without minimizing what you're experiencing, and without asking you to be strong.

How we support caregivers
Our therapists understand the unique exhaustion that comes with caring for others, whether that's a professional role, a family responsibility, or both at once.
Identify and shift thought patterns driving caregiver guilt, anxiety, and burnout. Learn to recognize when your own needs matter, and build the tools to act on that without feeling selfish. Practical, structured, and widely researched.
A safety-first approach for caregivers experiencing the emotional weight of sustained caregiving, including compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, and the grief that can come with caring for someone whose needs are significant or declining.
Goal-oriented sessions that help you find sustainable balance: building boundaries, rebuilding your sense of self, and creating space for your own wellbeing alongside your caregiving responsibilities.
How to get started
Caregivers can access Serebro Health directly, no referral required. Here's what the process looks like.
Free 20-minute consultation
Reach out to Serebro Health directly to book a free 20-minute consultation. No referral needed. We'll discuss what you're experiencing, confirm your coverage where applicable, and match you with the right therapist. This call is yours: no agenda, no pressure.
Your first session
Your therapist takes time to understand your situation: your caregiving role, what's been hardest, and what you're hoping to gain from therapy. Many caregivers come in not entirely sure what they need. That's okay. Your therapist will help you figure it out together.
Ongoing sessions
Each 50-minute session builds on the last at a pace that works for you. Sessions are available virtually across Canada or in-person in Petawawa, ON. Flexible enough to fit around the demands of your caregiving schedule. Most clients meet weekly or bi-weekly.
Progress and next steps
Therapy isn't indefinite. Together with your therapist you'll decide when you're ready to step back, with the tools to maintain your own wellbeing while continuing to show up for the people who depend on you. Check-ins are always available if things shift.
Accessible, transparent pricing
