Strengthen your relationship, together
Virtual couples therapy using the Gottman Method. Available online across Canada with a Registered Psychotherapist.
What is couples therapy?
Couples therapy is a form of psychotherapy designed to help partners understand each other more deeply, communicate more effectively, and work through conflict in a healthy, productive way. It's not about taking sides, it's about strengthening the relationship as a whole.
Every couple hits rough patches. Therapy isn't a last resort, it's one of the most proactive things you can do for your relationship.
Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or simply want to build a stronger foundation, couples therapy provides a structured, supportive space to do that work - together.

The Gottman Method
Our couples therapy is grounded in the Gottman Method, one of the most extensively researched approaches to relationship therapy in the world, developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman over four decades of study.
Deepen your knowledge of each other's inner world, your partner's hopes, stresses, and what matters most to them.
Learn to navigate disagreement without contempt or criticism, replacing destructive patterns with productive dialogue.
Build rituals, goals, and values as a couple that give your relationship a sense of purpose and direction.
What to expect
Couples therapy looks a little different from individual sessions. Here's how the process works from your first contact with us.
Free 20-minute consultation
A no-pressure call with both partners to discuss what you're hoping to work on, answer your questions, and confirm we're a good fit. No obligation to proceed.
Your first session
The first session begins with approximately 20 minutes individually with each partner, giving your therapist a chance to hear each perspective privately. The session then comes together for the final portion as a couple. This helps your therapist understand the full picture before the work begins.
Ongoing couples sessions
Ongoing sessions are tailored to where you are in the process. Some sessions will be held together, others may involve individual split sessions to go deeper on specific themes. Your therapist may also assign exercises or tasks to work through between sessions; these are an important part of the Gottman Method and help build skills outside the therapy room.
Progress and next steps
Couples therapy isn't indefinite. As you build communication tools, work through conflict patterns, and strengthen your connection, you and your therapist will decide together when you're ready to step back, with the skills to continue growing as a couple.

Couples therapy is billed at a flat rate of $250 per 1 hour session. Coverage for couples therapy varies by insurer and plan. We recommend confirming your couples therapy benefit directly with your provider prior to booking. The $0–$58 figure reflects the typical out-of-pocket cost for clients with eligible insurance coverage after direct billing is applied. Clients without insurance coverage are responsible for the full session rate. Note that some insurers may have coverage limitations or exclusions for couples therapy, in which case out-of-pocket costs may exceed the estimates shown above.
