You show up for everyone. Let us show up for you.
Confidential psychotherapy for police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and dispatchers. Evidence-based support for the unique demands of first responder work. Virtual across Canada or in-person in Petawawa, ON.
What is psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a professional, evidence-based form of talk therapy. As a first responder, you're exposed to experiences that most people will never encounter: critical incidents, cumulative operational stress, trauma, and the pressure to stay composed when everything around you isn't. Working with a Registered Psychotherapist gives you a confidential space to process what you carry without judgment.
"First responders are trained to manage crisis for everyone else. Therapy is where you finally get to put it down."
Unlike talking to a colleague or leaning on your team, psychotherapy is structured, goal-oriented, and completely confidential. Your therapist brings both professional expertise and genuine understanding of the first responder environment, you won't need to minimize what you've seen or justify why it's affecting you.

How we work with first responders
Our therapists use evidence-based approaches tailored to the specific demands of first responder work; cumulative stress, critical incidents, and the culture of pushing through.
Identify and shift thought patterns driving hypervigilance, anxiety, sleep disruption, and emotional numbing; common responses to the cumulative demands of first responder work. Practical, structured, and widely used in occupational stress treatment.
A safety-first approach for first responders navigating the effects of critical incidents, operational trauma, or the weight of what you've witnessed over a career. Delivered at your pace, without pressure to relive what you're not ready to face.
Goal-oriented sessions that build on the resilience and discipline you already bring to the job. Designed for first responders who want practical tools and a clear path forward, on shift and off.
